Sawyer
Tannery is a premier property along the banks of the Napa
River- located at 68 Coombs Street
It
is a 7 acre parcel 110,000 SF of commercial space- mixed use
(light industrial, office, warehouse storage, and studios
for artists)
The
Sawyer Tannery complex is located on the "tannery bend"
of the Napa River which will be an ideal setting after the
completion of the Napa Flood Project - creating dramatic views
of a vast marsh plain, pedestrian trails, and open waterways.
The tannery will once again play an integral role in the evolution
of Napa, recalling its past as a center of commerce.

| HISTORY |
|
The
Sawyer Tannery was formed in 1869 and remained a producer
of "Napa Patent Leather" until 1990, when
it closed its production facilities. Since that time
it has evolved into a commercial property that is leased
primarily to small businesses. It has also become a
sanctuary for the art community with numerous studios
for local artists and a gallery that hosts exhibits.
The complex is comprised of 14 buildings and a water
tower. Three primary wireless providers lease the water
tower for antenna placement. There are 46 tenants leasing
57 units.
